Why isn’t my photo appearing in my profile, or why was it not accepted?

To meet the high-quality standards we set for ourselves, and which our users expect from each other, new profile photos undergo a review process. This can take a few minutes, but in rare cases, it may also take a few hours. We ask for a little patience if in doubt.
If a photo is rejected, it apparently does not meet our content requirements. Profile photos on Finya must only show the individual who uploaded the photo. Therefore, ensure that your face is clearly recognisable and no other people are visible. Effects, landscape photos, animal pictures, or other motifs that do not primarily show yourself are not intended for use on Finya.
